Aleksandar Stanojković

Aleksandar Stanojković u bivšem studiju "A.S.", a sadašnjem studiju "Stranac"

Aleksandar Stanojković is a singer-songwriter, music producer, multi-instrumentalist,

songwriter and owner of the studio "Stranac".

Until the age of twenty-three, he was heavily engaged in the Balkan's Hip-Hop scene under the pseudonym "Grumpy Eye". After hip hop, he changed his musical direction, devoted himself to playing the guitar, and began work on his debut album, "Anđela". He leaves pseudonyms behind, and continues to sign himself with his real name. As a singer-songwriter, with his first single "To je ljubav" he reached the first place of the most important radio charts such as the shows Pop mašina and Diskomer, as well as the charts on the MTV Adria channel. That trend continued with most of the follow up songs, and the song "Zvezde" spent 8 weeks on the Diskomer top list, while it occupied the first place for 4 weeks straight, while the song "Kao da je bilo nekader" spent 2 weeks in the first place of the same chart. The album "Angela" was never formalized as an official and printed edition, but songs from the album can be found on his YouTube channel as well as on many streaming platforms. His music varies in genres from acoustic pop and blues, to rock, reggae, to American folk music and country music, and hip hop, but all the time he keeps a note of pop music. In 2014, he released the EP "Ljiljana", through the publishing house Lampshade Media, on which you can find the songs "To je ljubav", "Ljiljana" and "Zvezde". In 2015, together with Sergej Ćetković, he participated in the Montenegrin festival Sunčane skala, where he signed the arrangement for 2 songs: "Ostani" by Aleksandar Stojanović, and "Druže moj" by the Slovenian singer Damir Kovačić. In the same year, due to a terrible political situation in the country, he closed the studio and took a break from music production, so he could pursue a career on youtube.

In 2018, he founded the studio "A.S." and participates in the debut album of a Serbian well known pop and soul singer Tijana Bogićević as a keyboardist on the song "Sam od sutra", and begins collaboration with a long-time friend, musician and producer Dušan Alagić. In 2019, he independently released his debut album "Anđela" as a collection of songs dedicated to his ex-girlfriend. Together with Alagić, in 2020, he signed an arrangement for the song "Kao muzika" by the Belgrade singer Bojana Mašković for the Beovizija festival and independently released his second album "Petar Pan", and five months later he also released the album "Stranac", also online as well as his debut album. In the same year, he began work on the thematic solo album "Child of the Eighties", which was inspired by pop music from the eighties. In 2021, he founded the "Stranac" studio. As a solo artist, he released 7 albums. 2 under the pseudonym "Grumpy Eye" and 5 under his own name.
